Walmart Beauty Box – Part 1

20150430_162908-1This is what I got for $5 (free samples paid for shipping) I think that they equal about $5 worth.  The Coupon for a free can of the dry spray deodorant is about $5 all by itself.  The package of Simple cleansing wipes is a little bit of money too – those guys are not cheap. (at least to me)   The rest of the items were smaller and a true “sample size”  But that’s ok.  I might keep getting these for a while.  I cannot say I was disappointed by what was in here.

My first item I can review from here is the Simple cleansing wipes.

20150430_162631-1They didn’t leave my skin with a “residue” like some of the other wipes I have used in the past.  It doesn’t really have a smell and seems to do a decent job at cleaning dirt off my face.  I have struggled with blemishes since I was a young teenager.  I have tried almost everything.  Then for a good number of years I had a pretty good handle on it.  When I turned 30 my Dr’s decided that since I have high blood pressure, Migraines with aura and had been on birth control since I was 14 – they took me off the oral birth control and put this tube thing in my arm that is good for 3 years, that was almost 2 years ago.  (not looking forward to how they take that sucker out)

Anyways – since then I have begun my battle with the blemishes once again.  It seems the birth control was helping with my complexion.  And now I feel like a teenager again, but not in a good way.  It’s hard to be an adult who has pimples – it’s just embarrassing.  But I work hard to keep it under control and sometimes that can be harsh on my skin.  These cleaning wipes seem to be a good way to clean my skin at the end of the day – without it taking layers of my face off with it.

I will post reviews of the other items in the box as I go.  I don’t want to over do it with a long post full of pictures – some of you might un-follow me and that’s not something I want to have happen.

**Someone reminded me that I forgot the link to sign up for your own box – I apologize for not including that.

wpid-20150113_171404.jpgI got my free sample kit in the mail last night – isn’t it pretty!!  I can’t wait to start using these pens – I think they will be awesome to use in my blog planner – that is of course once I make up my mind and print one. 😉  My husband wants to steal the black one – I think I can spare one of them for him.  So please keep an eye out for an update on my blog planner for a glimpse at how these pens are working out for me.

(my first submission was rejected because I forgot to mention that this was a free sample kit from Smiley360) so now I have mentioned it twice  🙂
